Clinical research pre-screen

Voluntary. You choose whether to be referred.

About this pre-screen

InvestigatorX helps people learn about clinical research studies that may be relevant to them. This short pre-screen asks for limited information to help identify potential research opportunities.

Completing this pre-screen is voluntary. It does not mean that you qualify for or are enrolled in a clinical trial. InvestigatorX does not make final eligibility decisions. A participating research site will determine whether you qualify for a particular study.

InvestigatorX does not provide medical advice or replace your doctor.

Questions

Does completing the pre-screen mean I qualify?

No. A pre-screen can only identify a potential match. The research site conducting the study determines whether you qualify.

Is there a cost to use InvestigatorX?

There is no charge to use InvestigatorX. If you are referred, the study team explains any study-related costs or reimbursement during informed consent, before you decide.

Will I receive the study medicine?

Some studies compare an investigational medicine with a placebo, an inactive substance, and you may not know which you receive. The study team explains this during informed consent.

Who sees my answers?

Our team, to look for potential matches. A research site sees them only if you choose to be referred to that named site.

Do I stop seeing my doctor?

No. Keep seeing your doctor, and tell them about any study you consider joining.
